After a long day in Lisbon, 7:30 pm was finally the time for the absolute final in the blue belt division.

Emily Cheyenne Valks (NS Brotherhood International), the silver medalist from the super heavyweight division faced bronze medalist Aurélie Le Vern (Tyrone Gonzalves Team) from the medium heavy division.

The fight started with a guard pull from Emily. Aurélie had no time to lose and started working on her guard pass right away. As Aurélie was close to passing the guard, Emily went to turtle position and Aurélie managed to get the hooks and score 4 points.

Aurélie kept the position and tried to finish the fight by choke but Emily defended. Some scramble after the choke attempt made Aurélie ending up on top in Emily’s halfguard. Aurélie managed to keep control and scored another points for passing guard and knee on belly.

More scramble led to same position where Emily went to turtle and Aurélie again placed the hooks and scored more points. The fight ended and Aurélie could celebrate a 13-0 victory becoming the new European Blue Belt Absolute Champion.
